how to make this game work on joyplay? I've been trying to play this for a while and Joyplay won't open it.

How do you get the bartender in the castle though? From what Bal'Rana says, I assume I have to hire one from somewhere, same with the movie theatre, but Idk where to hire either.

Well that's annoying. I can't talk to her until I talk to the grandmaster, but I can't talk to him until I get all the shrine blessings and there doesn't seem to be a way for me to see how many I've triggered, plus I can't find a map for them in the forums either.

I'm going to start this now, tell me, should I play without installing these art changing things and mods? what is the real difference between this
Each shrine gives you an illustration. Should be able to look through which ones you have and find the ones you don't in the guide to tell you which shrines you missed.

Happy Holidays everyone, looks like we're getting story progress after taking that massive hit of losing the best artist making CGs for the game.... What an interesting twist...
(It's almost as if the story is progressing suddenly before the new artist comes along and sees there's no direction
)

Luckily the story is strong enough to survive without the CGs. Most of them suffer from hyper content anyway that makes me want to puke and lose eyesight...View attachment 4371617

I might be mistaken but you did install the RPGXP RTP right? XP requires the RTP to be installed.

.dll files are libraries for common scenario files, you need to install RTP packages so the game loads them from your pc, it make games smaller to download

Yo I know its probably been asked a ton but anyone got a current save? And if so does using the item to restart the game get rid of the grind? I haven't played since forever, I think the last thing I remember is the castle getting finished and we could use it as our "base". I would rather not go through the grind I feel like I remember from why back when and if I could just restart and cruise through the main story that would be ideal.

Yeah I've been using the Orb of Restoration since v1, and it definitely makes fights run a lot faster. But honestly to that extent if you want to play the game it's more advisable to just use a save editor because things like side quests and other non direct story events will be checked off.
In my game for example I used the Orb in 3.26 and while the main story reset I still see story events I did like 8 years ago that I can barely remember.
As for a save file, there should be one posted in November or so, can't remember the exact post but somebody did share one.
